Narrowleaf Blue Star, Arkansas Blue Star

Spring clusters of pale blue, five-petaled flowers are the primary reason most gardeners choose Narrowleaf Blue Star, a native of the southwestern U.S.  Very narrow, needle like leaves resemble a bottlebrush and turn from green to golden-yellow in the fall.  These long-lived plants prefer moist sites but performs equally well on dry ones.
