Longfellow’s strives to meet your customer satisfaction and to make our customers happy with their purchases.
To ensure that you receive plants in good health, we offer a 1 year warranty on trees and shrubs and a 60 day warranty on perennials, butterfly bushes, and small fruits.
To claim the warranty and receive a replacement plant, you must bring back the dead plant and the original receipt. If a suitable replacement cannot be found at that time, store credit may be issued. This credit must be used within a year of it’s issued date.
Our responsibilities do not exceed the purchase price of the original plant. There is no warranty on the replacement plant. We do not offer a warranty on annuals, tropicals, hanging baskets, container plants, houseplants, holiday plants, or mums. Labor and delivery costs are not covered by the warranty.
Our warranty does not cover:
- Plant death due to improper care or customer neglect
- Plant death or damage due to disease, mechanical injury, pests, or weather
- Products bought at a discount
- Evergreens used as live Christmas trees
- Trees, shrubs, and perennials planted in decorative containers or left in pots for extended periods of time
- Dogwood trees
- Labor and delivery costs
Note – Some plants, including crape myrtle and butterfly bush, emerge as late as mid-May. Prematurely digging up a live plant will void the warranty. To avoid harm to your plant, please reach out to discuss your plant’s health with an associate prior to digging it up.
Longfellow’s will not warranty the following plants when planted after October 1st:
Birch, Redbud, Japanese Maple, Abelia, Azalea, Nandina, Butterfly Bush, Crape Myrtle, Rhododendron, Ornamental Grass, and Perennials.
