This truly impressive hybrid Allium was named the 2018 Perennial Perennial of the Year by the Perennial Plant Association.
Forming a compact, upright clump of glossy, thick green leaves; it is an excellent garden border plant as well as an interesting substitution for Liriope. 2″ rosy-purple flower clusters appear just above the foliage, blooming from mid-late summer. The leaves have a slight onion smell when crushed. Allium ‘Millenium’ is easy to grow with excellent resistance to deer and rabbits.
