The shimmering frost that covers the green leaves of this perennial allows only the vein to show through the silver, crackle-like finish. Blue, forget-me-not type blooms in spring are clustered a few inches above the frosted foliage.

Brunneras are great for the shade garden and have adorable, delicate blooms. They also make a wonderful groundcover.
