Neat clumps of dark green, leathery fronds emerge on this fern that is native to Missouri.  Plants are evergreen, providing interest all year long.  An excellent choice for groundcover in shaded beds or on a slope to prevent erosion.  Deer and rabbit resistant.  Plant in a moist area with well drained soil; plants will tolerate more sun if they have adequate moisture.
