Plants have deeply serrated, light green leaves that turn fiery red in the fall.  The leaves also have a slight lemon scent.  From late spring to early summer, white flowers with a pink tint appear.  Very easy to grow; deer resistant and very low maintenance.

‘Biokovo’ was named the 2015 Perennial Plant of the Year by the Perennial Plant Association.
