Ornamental Kale is a fall staple for us at Longfellow’s.  It pairs beautifully with pansies in containers and landscape beds.  The colors intensify as the temperatures get colder.

Glamour Red: An All-America Selections winner.  Shiny, waxless leaves with ruffled edges.  Deep red-purple color.  8-10″ tall, 10-12″ wide

Nagoya Mix: Heavily fringed leaves turning red, rose or white.  10-12″ tall, 15-18″ wide

Osaka Mix: Semi-waved leaves turning pink, red, or white.  Could also be called Ornamental Cabbage.  6-12″ tall, 12-18″ wide

Peacock Red and White: Long, narrow, deeply serrated leaves with a colored center.  8-12″ tall, 12-14″ wide

Yokohama Mix: Extra curly leaves with excellent cold tolerance. 5-7″ tall, 8″ wide
