Pansies are the perfect cool weather annual.  Available for sale in early spring and again in fall, these cheerful blooms will add refreshment to your containers and flower beds.  Pansies love cool temperatures, so as the temperatures rise, you will have to replace them with new annuals.  But, they will last longer into the fall and may even survive the winter, if it is mild.
