Portulaca is so easy and low maintenance; you can’t go wrong!  A bright, colorful collection of semi-double blooms will open each morning and close each evening.  Slender, succulent like foliage provides an interesting texture as well.  Plants are drought tolerant with a trailing, spreading habit.  Try some in a small container that is hard to keep watered or along a hot, dry sidewalk.
