Swiss Chard
Swiss Chard is very tasty; it can be eaten fresh or sauteed in olive oil for a healthy side dish. With such striking colors and interesting texture, try planting some in mixed containers with other favorite annuals.
The varieties we grow are:
- Bali – Dark green leaves with contrasting dark red stems; vigorous plants. 55 days to maturity; 35-40 days for baby greens.
- Bright Lights – A mix of unique stem colors including yellow, violet, orange, gold, pink, green, red, and white. Leaves are bronze or dark green. An All-America Selections winner. 60 days to maturity.
