Cimicifuga 'Chocoholic'
bugbane
This beautiful native plant adds great texture and height to the shade garden. From late summer through fall it has fragrant bottlebrush flowers that are mauve-pink when they first open and then fade to a white. These flowers sway above the colorful, bronze purple foliage and add a wonderful lacy, airy backdrop to the garden. It’s foliage contrasts well when planted by gold or yellow foliage.
